dear xanga,

here are somethings you may not know about me.
1. I'm pretty much loving the northeast. It snows everyday. They never close anything. People just drive in the snow. Its freezing. Its just been a real winter, and for some reason thats ok.
2. I'm sick again! But not a whole lot this time . . . yet. Someone told me that i have the immune system of a 3 month old, but that couldn't be true.
3. I'm addicted to wanting to buy outdoor gear. hmm.
4. my car baaarely starts each morning. i'm just waiting for that day when the battery dies. Oh man.
5. I love donuts.
6. I'm training for a sprint triathlon, but i haven't started swimming yet
7. I made some amazing chili last week, and its feeding me this whole week.
8. I'm hungry for shrimp pasta right now.
9. I'm going indoor mtn biking again in february.
10. i think i'm ready to get married . . .sorta. i mean minus the whole buy a ring, be able to support a wife, make decisions with her in mind part. But all the other stuff is like a go!

i feel about 92% better now.  i should prolly start exercising again.  also, i feel like writing a non rhyming poem.  here goes:

here's to those who never settle.

to those who never give in to the next best option

to all those who don't give up their dream when all others do

here's to those who stick it out to the bitter end

never yielding, never wavering, never capitulating

to the masses, to the common wisdom, to the small-thinking of all those

who've never dreamed, never loved, never sacrificed.

not because they think there's a chance they can win

because there's nothing in them that can align with their enemies

because to compromise is to lose.

to change is to betray all that is right

and to surrender is to die
